‘Hello everyone and welcome to my very first blog entry! I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome some of our new authors/artists. International bestselling author and talented musician & composer Caiseal Mór, Helen Wells (an extraordinary artist and Caiseal’s beloved wife), and the mystical, magical and lovely Lucy Cavendish. We are about to release Caiseal’s new CD Beautiful Hands featuring the magic of the Celtic Harp. The past week has been rather exciting as we have also just released two very interesting books – The Secret Language of Your Body by Inna Segal and the new edition of Animal Dreaming book by Scott Alexander King, bestselling author of the Animal Dreaming Oracle Cards.

Blue Angel started over a decade ago as a suburban bookshop, art gallery and alternative healing centre. The closing of our store some years ago, created the space for Blue Angel Gallery to become better known nationally and internationally. At the time, closing the Blue Angel shop seemed like the end of an era but in actual fact it was the beginning of a grander vision, the start of a new era. And now I feel that we have entered a third new phase. The task may feel a bit daunting at times. I often doubt my own abilities especially managerial ones. Yet this morning I realised that I am not alone and I have lots of support around me and I feel that more support will come.

I wanted to share with you my mission for Blue Angel Gallery.

My vision is as follows:

To create a unique, independently owned, Australian based global publishing & recording company with a point of difference – namely to produce beautiful publications and music/meditation CDs, art prints, cards and other associated products to do with Mind, Body, Spirit. We utilise the talents of gifted people, authors, artists and craftspeople from Australia and all around the world – talented authors, musicians and artists with special gifts, who are truly and profoundly in touch with the spirit of the Earth and with the universal spirit of love. Our artists, authors and musicians have open hearts and minds that will touch the hearts of others, no matter who they are or where they are in the world.

My vision is for our works to be known and loved by as many people around the globe as is possible. We publish works and music from different cultures so that Blue Angel is a truly global publisher and record company. By introducing countries and cultures to one another we enable the beauty, wisdom and love within each culture to be shared with others, in order for people to realise that spirit, love, God-Goddess are universal and all ultimately one and the same, even though we each perceive these deities and qualities in our own unique way. We explore the endless creative possibilities available to us and always remain true to our purpose.

Our aim is create a strong, solid and financially secure company that will be around for decades to come. We do not want to be the biggest or to publish a huge list of titles just for the sake of growing larger. Rather, our aim is to publish titles which will stand the test of time, which will offer hope and timeless wisdom to humanity for many years to come.

Our endeavour is to continue to evolve and adapt, embracing the exciting and changing times in which we live and helping to bridge the gap between spirit and matter in everyday life. Our aim is to offer love, to help heal, to help create abundance, wealth, health, peace and happiness for everyone on the planet.

I realise now that I have yearned and dreamt of creating this. In my heart of hearts, I have for years dreamed of being surrounded and supported by talented, creative and inspiring people and together creating something special, something of real value. I yearn to touch the hearts and illuminate the minds of people all over the world through our publications and recordings which offer people hope, and both worldly and spiritual guidance for their lives.

I want to continue to be closely involved in creation of new publications, recordings, products and new ventures for Blue Angel Gallery, this is something I enjoy greatly. However, I am finally slowly letting go of the day-to-day running of things, thanks mainly to Tanya who is doing an excellent job in taking over the management of Blue Angel Gallery – with the aid of the newest addition to the Blue Angel team, Melinda – and taking Blue Angel to the next level of its evolution. Through this I wish to create time to paint, contemplate and write, as well as search for and help create new ventures and possibilities for Blue Angel. I also want to acknowledge the positive role that Michael, our graphic designer, has played, and the invaluable contribution he has made in making Blue Angel what it is today. Michael has been with us from the very start and like all of us he has learned and worked largely by intuition, always striving to improve and do better work. Thank you.

Blue Angel Gallery is not just my dream. My wife Martine initially suggested the name in honour of Archangel Michael and she has been and remains instrumental in Blue Angel’s progress. Martine is an integral part of Blue Angel, not only as co-owner but she is also one of the original Blue Angel authors with two meditation CDs. Through Martine, Blue Angel Gallery also holds regular Reiki courses and a series of workshops.

In the coming months we shall explore the possibility of organising various other courses, workshops, events and seminars which will feature our authors, musicians and artists to expand our reach even further.

Martine and I are leaving for France this Saturday – just a short break to spend some time with Martine’s Mum and family in Nice. We will then attend the Frankfurt Book Fair for the first time. The book fair runs from 10th to 14th October and we will be in Hall 8.0 –stand P913 in case anyone is in Frankfurt at that time.

Love and light,
Toni
